Dear friends, Also this makes great Software like SwitchResX useless to these machines. I am using m1 macboom air on 11.3 and 11.4 beta on a 34 ultrawide M1 Mac custom resolutions / display overrides. Then it should be hidpi on external display too. Then you can mirror the exterior display to internal display in display settings. Use SwitchresX set the internal resolution to the new one. If you connect an ultrawide or super-ultrawide monitor to your Mac with Apple M1 chip, some resolutions supported by your display. A third-party app called SwitchResX helps get rid of the issue.

With version 4.11.1 on M1 Macs, you can again: - set display rotation & display underscan. Version 4.11.1 should work better on M1 Macs. Is SwitchResX compatible with Apple Silicon (M1) Macs ? Version 4.11 was released to give first compatibility with M1 Macs, though it was really incomplete.
